Purchasing Checklist
The following is a list of the information I'll need from you and any co-borrower(s) to begin processing your loan application. You may apply online, in person, or over the phone. If you have questions about anything on the list, please contact me.

Loan Information

Amount you would like to borrow or purchase price of the house you plan to buy
Monthly homeowner's or association dues (if applicable)
Funds available for a down payment amount and earnest money
Property Information

Type of property you'd like to buy (single family, condominium, townhome, multi-unit property)
How you'll use the property (primary residence, second residence, etc.)
Personal Information

Legal name of borrower and any co-borrower(s)
Social Security number(s)
Marital status
Address of current primary residence (provide previous address if at current residence for less than two years)
Number and ages of dependents/children
Employment information (employers, job title, employer's addresses for the past two years)
Income Information

All sources and amounts of monthly income (borrower and co-borrower(s), including salary, overtime, bonuses, commission, dividends, interest, retirement and any other source of income you want us to consider toward the repayment of your loan.
All current expenses, including housing costs, alimony payments, child support payments and other balance(s) owed.
Real estate assets owned, including the property address, market value, outstanding liens, rental income, and mortgage payments for each.
Other assets, bank and financial institution accounts, including the bank/institution name(s), account type(s), and balance(s); value of bonds, stocks, life insurance policies, and retirement funds.
Once you've gathered all the above information, you're ready to begin. If you're applying online, I'll be notified immediately when you've completed the application. Once I receive your application, I'll let you know if there is anything else I need to process your loan and when I've finished processing your application.

Item Bring These Things

Names and addresses of all employers in the last 2 years

  1. 4 weeks current paystubs
  2. Last 2 years W-2s
  3. If self-employed bring last 2 years of tax returns
  4. SONYMA loans require 3 years of tax returns

Home addresses of applicants over the last two years

  1. Names and addresses of landlords, if applicable

Information on the home being purchased

  1. Copy of sales contract on new home
  2. Descriptive information on home (Listing info)
  3. Survey (if available)
  4. Seller's Disclosure Statement

If purchasers have another house to sell

  1. Copy of sales contract on that home
  2. Estimate of net proceeds from that sale
  3. If property has settled, copy of settlement sheet

Bank Accounts:

Checking, savings, and credit union accounts

  1. Name of Institution, address, account number
  2. Last 3 bank statements
  3. Approximate balance

Description of  assets

  1. Stocks, bonds, 401k, mortgages owned, etc.
  2. Other real or personal property

Credit card Information and other debts

  1. Name of institutions and addresses
  2. Type of debt
  3. Account numbers, approximate balances, minimum monthly payments

Income other than salary  used to qualify for Loan

  1. Current leases on investment properties
  2. Evidence of retirement pay
  3. Evidence to support receipt of child support or alimony
APPLICANT WILL ALSO NEED CHECK FOR CREDIT REPORT AND APPRAISAL

For FHA loans

  1. Copy of  Social Security card
  2. Copy of photo ID

For VA loans

  1. DD214 for Veteran
  2. Transfer orders (and off-base housing letter, if not in military District of Washington)
  3. Recent leave and earnings statement
  4. Certificate of eligibility
  5. Statement of service
